Liverpool fell to a second successive defeat on their tour of America, losing 2-1 to Sevilla at the iconic Fenway Park.
Liverpool, sporting their new third kit, started brightly but soon faded as Sevilla took control of the game, creating some excellent chances.
The Spaniards deservedly took the lead when a deflected cross fell to Nolito, who drilled the ball into the top corner.
Liverpool got themselves level before half-time thanks to Divock Origi.
Nat Phillips rose well to get on the end of a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner and his header was deflected to the Belgian who hammered home from close range.
Perhaps unsurprisingly in the sweltering Boston heat and with Sevilla throwing in some rather tasty challenges, Jurgen Klopp changed all eleven players at half-time.
Joris Gnagnon was then sent off for Sevilla after an absolutely shocking tackle on Yasser Larouci but even with ten men, the Spanish side went 2-1 up late on when Pozo showed some great feet to round the onrushing Simon Mignolet and slot home the winner.
Here’s how we rated the Liverpool players in the game:

Andy Lonergan - 8
Made an excellent save to deny Luuk De Jong when he was clean through. Ended the first half with a good claim from a potentially dangerous cross.
Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6
Started sharply and nearly had an assist with a great cross that was well defended at the back post. Looked a bit ropey at the back at times but was solid enough.
Nat Phillips - 6
Rose well to get on the end of the corner and his header was blocked into the direction of Origi. Defended pretty well.
Virgil van Dijk - 5
A bit casual at times but showed his class with some lovely long passes. Won’t be pleased at how many times Sevilla had players unmarked in the middle of the goal.
Andy Robertson - 5
Could have done better to stop the cross at times but was solid enough.
Jordan Henderson - 5
Was too sloppy in possession at times but his work rate when pressing was impressive in the scorching heat.
Gini Wijnaldum - 5
Pressed really well at times in difficult conditions. A bit sloppy with the ball at times.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 4
Was on the end of a few poor challenges that angered Klopp. Struggled to get on the ball as Sevilla kept possession well.
Ben Woodburn - 4
Anonymous performance from the Welshman. Can hardly remember him doing anything, in truth.
Harry Wilson - 6
Got to the byline a couple of times but couldn’t pick out a man. Had a shot blocked and hit the wall with a free-kick. Took a late elbow from Ever Banega that certainly left a mark.
Divock Origi - 8
Held the ball up well with some lovely touches. Got the equaliser with a poacher’s finish at the back post as he blasted home from close range.
Simon Mignolet - 7
Made a good double save early in the second half. Did well to tip away an awkward corner kick that looked certain to be headed home.
Ki-Jana Hoever - 5
A bit too casual at times and that saw him caught out in the ball. Looked to get forward as much as possible.
Joe Gomez - 6
Looked in complete control and made a few good blocks. Will probably feel he could have done a bit better to prevent the winner though.
Dejan Lovren - 6
Made a great clearance from a very dangerous cross to prevent a certain goal. Was one of the brighter performers in a dull second half.
Yasser Larouci - 7
Was the victim of an absolutely disgusting challenge and had to be stretchered off. Looked sharp until that point.
Fabinho - 5
Struggled to make an impact, bar a few tidy passes.
James Milner - 6
Made an excellent block to deny Ocampos what looked a certain goal. You know it’s hot when even Milner looked a bit tired!
Adam Lewis - 6
Played in midfield once again and didn’t really get on the ball. Went to left-back for the final ten minutes and did well to read a low cross and put the ball out for a corner.
Ryan Kent - 5
Had a couple of really impressive driving runs and dribbles but didn’t look too threatening.
Curtis Jones - 6
Had some really good touches on the right. Unlucky not to score after some good work from Rhian Brewster.
Rhian Brewster - 5
Set up Jones after some great work to force a mistake from a Sevilla defender. Didn’t really get a sniff at goal.
