Mason Mount would be a big loss for Chelsea this weekend, should he be ruled out of his side’s visit of Liverpool.
The Reds make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, with both sides looking to bounce back from midweek Champions League defeats.
Mount could be missing for Chelsea, however, having limped off in the 1-0 home loss to Valencia on Tuesday.
According to BBC Sport, the young Englishman will be assessed over the next 48 hours, as they determine the severity of his ankle injury.

Mount was a relative unknown this time last year, but he impressed on loan at Derby County and has shone when given his chance with Chelsea this season, benefiting from the club’s transfer ban.
The 20-year-old has scored three goals in seven appearances in 2019/20, showcasing his finishing ability from midfield.
Should Mount be unavailable, it will be an undoubted boost for Liverpool, who will be looking to retain their 100 percent start in the league on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be stinging after losing away to Napoli and a response is required.
Mount has been one of Chelsea’s most effective players in the opening month of the campaign – him being absent will only enhance the Reds’ chances of victory.
