Plenty of Manchester United fans have gone into meltdown after David de Gea was forced off through injury in Spain’s game against Sweden tonight, with Liverpool’s visit just around the corner.

Read Liverpool’s verdict
In all honesty, even if De Gea was available at the weekend you’d still have to heavily favour Liverpool’s chances of getting a result.
United are expected to see the returns of key names Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, but will now rest their hope at the back in back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
It’s set to be a monumental encounter in Manchester, and a game that could truly shape the Reds’ season whatever the result.
This can only be looked at as a boost for Jurgen Klopp though, who will be more confident going to Old Trafford than he’s ever been.
