Liverpool are plotting a move to sign OGC Nice youngster Pedro Brazao, according to Get French Football News.
It is reported that the Champions League winners are looking to sign the 17-year-old left winger, but the Portuguese youth international has also caught the eye of Liga Nos side Sporting CP, as well as European giants Bayern Munich and PSG.
The winger has only made one appearance so far for the French side, but has impressed in the youth ranks at Nice. Brazao has represented Portugal at all youth levels, scoring a total of 6 goals for the European Champions.
The attacker, who joined Nice in September 2018, would initially join the Reds’ under 19 side.

It seems clear that if Pedro Brazao was to arrive in Merseyside, he wouldn’t make an instant impact at Anfield, but would be a player for the future.
With Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah approaching the back end of their footballing careers, it seems like a good move for Liverpool to bring in younger players, with the hope that they will one day replace these world class player.
It is a breath of fresh air to see big clubs investing in future talent, instead of relying on big money signings, and more top clubs should be looking into using this method also.
