Brighton & Hove Albion have officially announced the signing of Adam Lallana from Liverpool, meaning he has followed Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren out of Anfield.

The 32-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal on the south coast after his contract expired on Merseyside.

Lallana made 15 league appearances for the Reds this season and his monst memorable moment was his equalising goal in the latter stages of the Premier League encounter with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Adam is, in my opinion as a Brighton fan, the player we need at this moment to help take us to the next level in terms of quality in our midfield.

As well as being able to adapt to an attacking midfield role, the former England international can also play out wide and he has the ability to add some much-needed creativity to our forward line next season.

Lallana will likely slot in perfectly and should be a nice fit for Brighton’s style of play, which included plenty of fluidity and quick counter-attacking

The Seagullswant to improve on the 39 goals they managed to score in the 2019/20 season and Lallana could certainly help them do just that.
