Mohamed Salah has been a Liverpool player for more than four years now and during this time has played some incredible football.

The Egyptian winger joined the Reds in 2017 from Italian side AS Roma for a fee of £34million (BBC), a steal in today’s market.

Since then, the club has won the Champions League and Premier League with Salah leading from the forefront.

I think at times Salah doesn’t get the recognition he deserves for just how good. heis and what he has achieved.

However, thanks to The Anfield Wrap on Twitter, we can see just how impressive and important he has been over the last four seasons…

Salah’s goal’s each season are absolutely ridiculous especially when you take into account that his time at Chelsea for reference in the Premier League.

One of the more interesting parts of these stats are that his least amount of goals in one season came during the club’s title winning campaign in 2020/21.

The winger managed to add to his tally for this season again at the weekend, with him scoring his 19th goal of the season.

Fellow Red Trent Alexander-Arnold also managed to get himself on the scoresheet, with former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher quick to sing his praises.

Liverpool go into mid-week with a tough visit from Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are in need of a big response and a comfortable win if they hope to progress in the competition.
