There is just over a week left of the summer transfer window and the Reds have seen a number of players depart.

So far the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Harry Wilson, Marko Grujic, and Taiwo Awoniyi have all left the club.

Not only that, but Xherdan Shaqiri is also set to depart the club with an agreement to join Lyon yesterday.

There is likely to be another departure before the end of the window, with Divock Origi linked with a move away.

The striker has been at the club for more than six years but has failed to cement a starting spot.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, there is interest from a number of Bundesliga clubs…

As cited by LFC Transfer Room above, there are plenty of opportunities for Origi back over in Germany.

The Belgium forward enjoyed a successful loan spell at Wolfsburg back in 2017.

However, his Liverpool career since then has failed to take off with chances few and far between.

Origi will no doubt be remembered by fans for his heroics in the Champions League against Barcelona and Tottenham.

A move away will be right for both parties with Liverpool needing to free up space in their squad.

The Reds currently only have one non-homegrown player space with Shaqiri set to depart.

If Origi leaves the club too, then this gives the club the opportunity to bring in two new players who aren’t English.
