Liverpool have found themselves playing two Premier League games this week.

This was due to the fans of Manchester United protesting prior to the game on 2nd May.

With that came the rescheduling of the fixture which is now set to take place on Thursday.

In the build up to the game, former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has warned the Reds over the threat United pose.

The biggest of them being in the form of Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes.

In an exclusive interview with Rousing the Kop, Heskey labelled Fernandes as the obvious dangerman…

In the interview, Heskey eludes to Fernandes, stating that he is the player that ‘makes things tick’ for United.

It is easy to see why, with the attacking midfielder head and shoulders above the rest of the United squad for goals and assists.

Fernandes has 17 goals and 11 assists this season for the Red Devils – becoming the beating heart of their attack.

Those are incredible numbers for an attacking midfielder in the Premier League.

It is understandable for Heskey to single out Fernandes to keep an eye on during the game.

There is no doubt that the Liverpool players will know of the threat that the Portuguese midfielder can pose.

However, it is easy for a player of that ability to strike when you least expect it.

One key aspect that Liverpool can nullify his impact is with a strong midfield.

By keeping Fabinho in midfield, the Reds can keep strength in midfield and break up United’s play.

Fernandes enjoys dictating play in midfield, but Fabinho has a tendency to end dictatorships such as that.
