# Arsenal could listen to offers for Liverpool target Martinelli

Arsenal will listen to offers for Gabriel Martinelli this summer, according to [90min](https://www.90min.com/posts/6583915-arsenal-consider-signings-of-3-potential-free-agents-with-summer-transfer-funds-limited?view_source=categories_page&view_medium=%5Btransfer%5D).

The Gunners will consider selling the young Brazilian, should an offer be deemed too good to turn down.

Liverpool were linked with a move for Martinelli earlier this season, seeing him as someone who could bolster their attacking options.

The 18-year-old has [scored 10 goals](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/380706/Show/Gabriel-Martinelli) for Arsenal this season, including [two away to the Reds](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50148250) in the Carabao Cup.

I think Martinelli could be a fantastic signing for Liverpool, with the teenager looking every bit a Jurgen Klopp player in style. The Reds boss even [called](https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/01/jurgen-klopp-hails-arsenal-youngster-gabriel-martinelli-talent-century-11022987/) him a ‘talent of the century’, following his aforementioned double at Anfield.

Technical, tenacious and [versatile](https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/gabriel-martinelli-201920-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics) – he can play centrally and on either flank – he could be an ideal backup option to Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, bringing with him a proven goal threat.

Divock Origi could [move on](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/four-liverpool-players-who-could-21696753) and Rhian Brewster’s long-term future at Anfield [isn’t guaranteed](https://theathletic.co.uk/1696927/2020/03/24/what-does-the-future-hold-for-liverpools-youngsters-tue-24-mar-3pm-uk/), so Martinelli could fill the void perfectly. He remains raw, of course, but he has shown this season that he can thrive for a top club.
