# Brewster reveals Klopp ruled out loan move – he has a plan for him

Rhian Brewster has revealed that Jurgen Klopp ruled out the possibility of him leaving Liverpool on loan this summer.

The 19-year-old is seen as one of the most exciting youngsters to emerge at Anfield in years, with huge things expected of him.

Knee and ankle issues saw him sidelined for over a year, but he is now back fully fit again.

Brewster made his Liverpool debut against MK Dons last month, but he has otherwise had to make do with a supporting role at best.

[Speaking](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-ace-rhian-brewster-how-20638524) to *Sky Sports*, the striker confirmed that Klopp has a plan for him this season, hence his decision to retain his services:

> You’ve just got to be patient and wait for your turn. Obviously the boss has a plan for me and he knows what he’s doing, clearly.

> Just chatting to him and stuff, he says, ‘Just be patient, your time will come, it will happen,’ and I’m just waiting. I’m being patient.

> He said no (to a loan) straight away, so that shows that he has great faith in me and wants to push me towards the first team.

Patience is required with Brewster, particularly considering the amount of time he missed through injury.

He is going to potentially look rusty for a few games, but he could become a key figure as the season progresses.

Legs will tire and injuries could arrive, allowing Brewster a chance to shine for the European champions.

He has all the ability in the world, and once he finds his feet, he could be a lethal weapon for Klopp.
