# Carlo Ancelotti – A profile

If [recent reports](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2015/09/22/liverpool-establish-contact-ancelotti/) are to be believed, FSG have made contact with Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti about potentially taking over from Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager, however the club are denying such stories.

Rodgers has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. Liverpool’s end to last season was a shambles, losing heavily to Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Stoke. If Liverpool do decide to make a change and bring in Ancelotti, who exactly are they getting?
