# Comedian Russell Howard hails “deadly” Mane – LFC’s most popular attacker?

Sadio Mane is in the form of his life for Liverpool and would currently push for a place in a world XI.

The Senegalese has been a revelation since moving to Anfield in 2016, becoming a hugely popular figure.

Someone who adores Liverpool’s No.10 is British comedian Russell Howard, who [told](https://live4liverpool.com/2019/08/lfc-news/russell-howard-raves-about-mane/) *FourFourTwo* about his love for him:

> I’m a huge fan of Sadio Mane.

> I just think he’s deadly.

It’s no surprise to see so many plaudits coming Mane’s way, following a blistering 2019.

He has been Liverpool’s star man in this calendar year, perhaps even more so than Virgil van Dijk, playing such a huge role in the Reds’ success.

When it comes to picking a world XI, football supporters will always having varying opinions on the matter.

Mane is a strong contender for the left-sided slot, though, highlighting his current brilliance.

Some would include the likes of Eden Hazard or Neymar instead, but they haven’t been as influential and are often picked because of who they are.

Former Liverpool man Raheem Sterling could stake a claim, too, following his consistent brilliance for Manchester City, but Mane still has the edge.

He will hope to be the difference-maker again on Saturday evening, as Jurgen Klopp’s side make the trip to Burnley.
