# Coutinho outlines what makes “unique” Klopp so special – he’s the perfect man for LFC

Philippe Coutinho may no longer be a Liverpool player, but it’s clear that he still holds Jurgen Klopp is extremely high regard.

The Brazilian has joined Bayern Munich on loan this season, as he looks to kick on after a disappointing spell at Barcelona.

Speaking to *Sport Bild*, via [https://sportwitness.co.uk/coutinho-makes-klopp-unique-wants-beat-liverpool-cl/](https://sportwitness.co.uk/coutinho-makes-klopp-unique-wants-beat-liverpool-cl/)*[Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/coutinho-makes-klopp-unique-wants-beat-liverpool-cl/)*, Coutinho outlined what it is that makes Klopp so special as a manager:

> He’s just a great coach, one of the best of the world. A real leader. I learned so much from him, especially on the mental level. He changed Liverpool.

> The club breathed new life, made them really strong again. It was an honour to work with him.

> His mentality is unique. He somehow always finds the right words, both before the game and during the game.

> He works very hard and is so extremely focused. The training is very intense. He always manages to adjust you for the next opponent, which is why he is so successful.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

There were rumours that Coutinho and Klopp’s relationship suffered at the end of his time at Liverpool, with the Reds boss thought to have been content with seeing him leave.

They were only loose reports, however, and the 27-year-old’s comments show how highly he rates his former manager.

Klopp is one of the two best coaches in the world at the moment, along with Pep Guardiola, and he has completely transformed Liverpool as a club.

As he approaches his four-year anniversary at Anfield, the progress he has made is staggering, turning the Reds from a shambles at the end of Brendan Rodgers’ reign to the champions of Europe.

The German remains in no rush to sign a new deal at Liverpool – anyone associated with the club should be desperate that he extends his stay beyond 2022.
