# “Everyone will fear us now” – Demarai Gray fires title warning to Liverpool

Demarai Gray has fired a title warning to Liverpool, following Leicester City’s impressive run of form.

The Foxes sit second in the Premier League after an excellent start to the season, eight points behind the table-topping Reds.

Brendan Rodgers is doing a commendable job as manager and there is now talk that Leicester could even repeat their 2016 title-winning heroics.

Someone who believes they are right in the mix is Gray, who has done his bit as a squad player this season.

Speaking to the [https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/demarai-gray-says-leicester-can-20870592](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/demarai-gray-says-leicester-can-20870592)*[Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/demarai-gray-says-leicester-can-20870592)*, the winger warned Liverpool that Leicester are full of belief currently:

> We have the quality to beat any team.

> It’s just about mentality really and I think you can see our spirit.

> The characters we’ve got in the team when we’re all together and on it, we’re a tough team to face whether we go home or away.

> I think everyone will fear us now. We just want to stamp that down and give teams that impression that it’s never going to be easy against us.

It is still too early to tell how serious Leicester’s title bid is, but they do look a strong outfit.

Rodgers’ side swept aside Arsenal last weekend and they look nailed-on for a top-four finish, as things stand.

More will become clearer as the season progresses, but Liverpool could do with as few title rivals as possible, as they look to end their 30-year wait for glory.
