# Fans laud Klopp after he becomes fastest Liverpool manager to 100 league wins

Jurgen Klopp once again showed why he should be trusted on Wednesday night, inspiring a footballing masterclass out of a weakened starting lineup against Everton.

Many Liverpool supporters were concerned when the team was announced, with the likes of Adam Lallana, Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi all starting.

The Reds were superb as they dismantled Everton 5-2, though, retaining their eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Klopp’s reputation couldn’t be any greater at the moment, as he continues to show why he is one of the best managers of his generation.

Liverpool’s win means the German has become the fastest Reds boss in history to earn 100 league victories – quite an achievement, considering some of the names that have come before him.

These Liverpool fans have been showering Klopp with praise on Twitter.

> Klopp the fastest [#LFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/LFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) manager in history to win 100 league games. Beating the likes of Paisley, Shankly and Dalglish to that record – when he inherited a poor team – surely ranks him alongside those greats.

> If he decides to stay for maybe another 5 years, who knows what we could achieve. Limitless. I think eventually he will manage the German national team though.

Klopp’s appointment felt significant back in 2015, but he is actually exceeding the huge expectations of him.

The 52-year-old is doing a quite remarkable job, bringing the glory days back to Anfield and threatening to finally end the long wait for a league title.

If he does that, legendary status will be secured forever.
