# Fans mock Man City supporter’s Liverpool-related conspiracy theory

Manchester City supporters are a weird bunch these days, aren’t they?

There was a time when the Premier League champions were everyone’s favourite second team, before the money rolled in.

Some of their supporters have changed ever since that moment, seemingly carrying a chip on their shoulder so big it may as well be a potato.

They are aghast that Liverpool and Manchester United seem to earn more column inches in the media – that’s what happens when are you are a huge club!

Incredibly, one City fan believes the story is some kind of conspiracy theory to aid Liverpool ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side’s trip to Anfield on Sunday:

Needless to say, these Reds supporters have mocked the individual on Twitter.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

It is a remarkable opinion to have, with *Sky Sports* never showing Liverpool any bias whatsoever, barring having some former players as pundits.

They are simply reporting a story that they believe to be true, which happens to be in the week leading up to a huge game.

There’s insecure and then there’s City supporters.
