The 18-year old Colombia youth international joined the Reds from Fortaleza CEIF in January and was immediately loaned to Real Mallorca in Spain’s third tier Segunda División B.

Now the young right-back has agreed a switch to Gent, and will link up with fellow Liverpool starlet Taiwo Awoniyi, who is also on loan with the Buffalos.

Arroyo could feature for the Belgian club in the Europa League this season, with Gent currently in the play-off stage, having drawn 0-0 at home in the first leg against Bordeaux on Thursday.
