Liverpool and Palace have begun negotiations, and the deal is likely to cost £20million, which could rise to £25million through various clauses.

Ings has two years left on his current deal, and has reached an agreement with boss Jurgen Klopp who will let him leave this summer.

Simon Mignolet is also reportedly close to the door, with Turkish club Besiktas having made contact over a potential deal.

Liverpool are also willing to listen to offers for Divock Origi, Sheyi Ojo, Lazar Marković and Pedro Chirivella.
