# Salah joined Liverpool to win trophies

Mohamed Salah has revealed that he aims to win the Premier League with Liverpool one day.

The Egypt international has been a revelation for the Reds’ since signing from Roma in the summer, scoring 30 goals in all competitions.

Liverpool are unlikely to catch Premier League leaders Manchester City this season, with the Cityzens currently 16 points ahead of second place Manchester United.

However, with the Reds’ likely to finish in the top four this season, Salah wants to go one better and win the title next season. Talking to BBC’s Football Focus, Salah said;

> I came to here to win titles.
>
> I can tell the fans we work 100 per cent to try and win something for the club. It’s a long time since the club won the league.
>
> It’s my dream to win the Premier League – but I want to win it with this club.

Liverpool last collected silverware in the 2011-2012 season, where Kenny Dalglish’s Reds’ beat Cardiff City on penalties to win the League Cup, and current boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to win a trophy with the club.

Meanwhile, Salah has been linked with Real Madrid, given the level of his personal success this season. However, Liverpool will resist any offer for their star forward, having recently sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £142million.
