# Four Findings: Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth – League Cup

Finally, Liverpool earned their first victory under their new manager. Jurgen Klopp made major changes to the side that drew with Southampton at the weekend, and the team he put out managed to beat Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup fourth round.

It was a good, not great, performance by the Reds against a club that has been struggling with misfortune and the challenges that come with being a promoted Premier League side.

Despite a slim victory against a weaker team, there were plenty of positives that suggest a platform for success may be taking form for the Reds.

It was a match that could have easily been mistaken for another in recent weeks. However, this time Liverpool managed to secure the result, possibly shaking the dull sense of deja vu that has been haunting them. It certainly satisfied the new boss.

Here are four findings from the match.
