# Fraser “keeping his options open” amid Liverpool interest

Current Premier League leaders Liverpool are understood to be interested in AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.

The Scottish international has not been at his sparkling best for the Cherries this season and he has hinted that he is currently unsettled at the club.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has admitted that Fraser is considering leaving the club. As quoted on the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7715269/Eddie-Howe-admits-Ryan-Fraser-keeping-options-open-Bournemouth-star-ponders-future.html), he said:

> In terms of his contract, that’s obviously for him to decide what he wants to do with his future.

> We would love him to stay and commit to us but, if not, we need to get the best out of him between now and the end of the season.

> We’ve had conversations with Ryan to try and persuade him to stay but, at the moment, he’s keeping his options open.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Fraser would be an ideal signing for Liverpool, especially because he will be available for free in the summer.

He’s a Premier League proven player and although he’s not one of the biggest names in the world, he will definitely be useful to Jurgen Klopp.

He’s very similar to Xherdan Shaqiri, in terms of producing something special from nothing and also very good at set-pieces. He’ll be used as a squad player and will strengthen the side.
