# Gallery: Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth

Liverpool’s first home game of the 2015-16 season ended in victory, but a far from convincing one.

Christian Benteke’s first half strike was enough to secure the points for the Reds, but in truth the Belgian was fortunate that his poacher’s effort stood, as Philippe Coutinho was offside when Jordan Henderson delivered the cross.

Here’s a gallery from the game.

Philippe Coutinho, who was effective if not a little wasteful on the night, makes way for Alberto Moreno, who certainly wasn’t reluctant to bomb forward in search of a second goal.
