# Gomez and Milner available for Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Chelsea

Joe Gomez and James Milner are fit for Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp has [confirmed](https://twitter.com/thisisanfield/status/1234457128578035713?s=20).

The Reds face fifth round action at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, looking to bounce back from Saturday’s surprise 3-0 defeat away to Watford.

Gomez and Milner were [ruled out](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-team-news-confirmed-jurgen-17839009) of the game at Vicarage Road, but speaking to reporters on Monday, Klopp said the pair were back available:

Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are still out, however, and face a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s visit of Bournemouth.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Gomez and Milner’s respective returns are a big boost for Liverpool, with the duo both missed at Watford.

Dejan Lovren had a bad night at office against Watford, highlighting Gomez’s importance alongside Virgil van Dijk. Meanwhile, Milner’s vast experience and intelligence has been missed of late, especially with captain Henderson also sidelined.

I wouldn’t necessarily expect the pair to start at Chelsea, although Klopp is difficult to second-guess when it comes to team selection.

It could be that both are saved for the Bournemouth match, but if Klopp is looking for an immediate post-Watford reaction, he could well throw the two England-capped stars straight back into the starting line-up.
