# Harry Wilson impressing Liverpool on loan at Hull

Liverpool Under-23 boss Neil Critchley believes that youngster Harry Wilson will have impressed Jurgen Klopp with his loan spell at Hull, according to the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/game-changer-harry-wilson-catching-14522203).

Wilson joined the Tigers in January with a point to prove, and has been a key player at Hull since arriving at the Kcom Stadium.

The Welsh international has netted 5 times in ten appearances for Nigel Adkins side, as they attempt to stay in the Championship.

Critchley himself has been impressed by Wilson, who he believes has adapted well to Championship football.

The Liverpool U-23 boss said:

> That move was the right thing at the right time for him. He’s gone there and he’s banging goals galore in, assisting, winning penalties.

> He’s gone to the Championship which is extremely tough. It’s a war of attrition that league. It’s Saturday-Tuesday every week, and you have to prove yourself every single game. You don’t get a lot of rest.

Critchley also believes that Wilson’s contributions at Hull will get him noticed by the first team, calling the Welsh international a ‘Game Changer’.

> If you keep scoring goals, you get noticed. We’re talking about him now, aren’t we? He’s in a really good place at the moment, and hopefully he can carry it on.

> He’s had a fantastic start but he’ll want to finish the season the way he is now and then come pre-season, I’m sure he’ll be thinking of being in and around the Liverpool squad for next season.

> Goalscorers are very difficult to leave out of the team or to take off the pitch because they can change games for you. Harry is a game-changer.
