# Has Dembele hinted that he could move to Liverpool?

Ousmane Dembele has been [linked with Liverpool](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/media-watch/354041-liverpool-offered-ousmane-dembele) in the past, having failed to settle at Barcelona.

The France World Cup winner was a big-money arrival at the Nou Camp back in 2017, but he is yet to reach his potential there.

A [move away has been mooted](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1224113/Man-Utd-Liverpool-Chelsea-Ousmane-Dembele-Barcelona-transfer), as Dembele searches for regular football elsewhere.

An Instagram post from a fan account, via the *[Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ousmane-dembele-drops-liverpool-hint-21224502)*, saw a mocked-up photo of the 22-year-old in a Liverpool shirt, celebrating alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold.

In truth, there is likely to be nothing to the photo but it is intriguing that Dembele has interacted, though and if the roles were reveresed, I would be upset if a Liverpool player liked a mocked picture of himself in a Barcelona kit.

Whether he realised that his linking the picture [would cause such a stir](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ousmane-dembele-drops-liverpool-hint-21224502) is a question that needs answering, but in the modern world, players should be aware that everything they do is being monitored and, in our opinon, he should really have known better.
