With all the solid performances he puts out week after week and the dedication shown to the Kop even after then newly-appointed manager Brendan Rodgers gave him permission to join Fulham during the 2012 summer transfer season it would have been strange not to see Jordan Henderson be named Liverpool Captain. Whilst it is still unknown whether or not Henderson will follow in former Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard’s footsteps step for step, Liverpool supporters stand behind the 25 year-old from Sunderland and have faith in his abilities on the pitch, not only as a footballer but as a leader as well.
