# Jordan believes Klopp is a “better manager” than Guardiola

Former Crystal Palace owner and chairman Simon Jordan has revealed that he believes Jurgen Klopp is a better manager than Pep Guardiola.

Liverpool and Manchester City go head-to-head this weekend in a top of the table clash at Anfield.

The two managers have been having a war of words in recent weeks, with Guardiola claiming that some Liverpool players, especially Sadio Mane, are divers.

Klopp hit back at Guardiola with a ‘tactical fouls’ jibe and Jordan feels Klopp is the better manager from the two. As quoted on [Talksport](https://talksport.com/football/625522/jurgen-klopp-better-man-city-pep-guardiola-liverpool/), he said:

> I think Jurgen Klopp is a better manager because of the intensity and the irresistibility of Liverpool.

> Despite the beauty of Man City, and this is something I’ve already said and don’t care if fans like it or not, there’s something about Man City that resembles a Frankenstein club – they’ve just bought everything.

> There’s something about Liverpool’s style of play and attitude now that appeals to me personally. I look at Liverpool and I find them irresistible.

Jordan’s words will be met with huge smiles by all Liverpool fans because they’ve known this all along.

Klopp inherited a very weak Liverpool squad and set out on a mission to build and develop his team. The same, unfortunately, can’t be said about Guardiola, who inherited the strongest squad in the league and then went on to spend hundreds of millions more.

However, one thing lacking on Klopp’s CV compared to Guardiola’s is silverware, but the way he is going, that will only continue to grow.
