# Juventus set for Can talks

Juventus are set for talks with Emre Can’s agent ahead of a summer move for the midfielder.

The German’s contract expires next summer and Juventus are keen to bring him to Italy at the end of the season.

[According to Tuttosport,](https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/calciomercato/2017/10/30-33141714/calciomercato_emre_can-juventus_altro_incontro_a_milano/) Juventus are holding talks with Can’s agent to persuade him to leave Liverpool.

Can is also in talks with Liverpool over a new contract with the Premier League club, but the report claims that there is little sign of progress so far.

Juventus made a £22.2m bid for Can last summer, with Liverpool rebuffing their efforts.

The Italian giants ended up opting for a move for Blaise Matuidi from Ligue 1 side PSG.

Due to Can being in the last year of his contract, he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club in January.

This means that Can could sign for Juventus in January – officially joining them on a free transfer at the end of the season.
