# Kane joins Hull on loan for the remainder of the season

Herbie Kane has joined Hull City on loan for the rest of the season, Liverpool have [confirmed](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/academy/381056-herbie-kane-joins-hull-city-on-loan).

The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful temporary spell at Doncaster Rovers last year, being named in League One’s Team of the Year.

He featured in the recent 5-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, playing well despite the result.

Kane has now left for Hull for the remainder of 2019/20, in order to earn regular first-team action.

He has been signed to aid the Tigers’ Championship promotion push, joining up with former Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart in the process.

Kane’s move makes total sense, considering the wealth of midfield options at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal.

Although Fabinho, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are currently injured, the Liverpool manager still has the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana to call upon.

Kane will benefit from his move to Hull and it may be that he leaves the Reds permanently this summer.
