# Keita overcomes illness ahead of Napoli clash

Liverpool take on Italian Serie A giants Napoli tonight in a crucial UEFA Champions League group stage encounter.

The Reds are currently on nine points whilst Carlo Ancelotti’s men are on eight, meaning a win tonight would seal top spot in Group E for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Klopp has a strong squad to select from and has received another fitness boost as midfielder Naby Keita has overcome illness ahead of the clash, as confirmed on the [official club website](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/374640-liverpool-napoli-team-news).

Keita is now available for selection and he has been used regularly in this season’s Champions League so far.

This is something that divides opinion. Many fans want Keita to start whilst others feel that a place on the bench would suffice for him tonight.

There’s no guessing what Klopp will do but just having him as an option is a welcome selection headache for the boss.

He’s performed well in recent Champions League matches and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him in the starting XI.
