# Key Battles – Stoke (A)

After conceding a crushing late equaliser against Bournemouth last time out, Liverpool missed out on an opportunity to extend their lead on fifth-placed Arsenal to eight points.

The Reds remain in third but have played at least one extra game to the clubs around them making the race for the top four all the more interesting for the neutral.

Next up for Jurgen Klopp’s side is a trip to play Stoke who, despite sitting in 12th place, sit just eight points outside the relegation zone, a gap which can be whittled away at an alarming rate.

Liverpool beat the Potters 4-1 at Anfield back in December and will be hoping for an equally impressive victory.
