# Klopp rejects PSG’s advances following hour-long conversation

Jurgen Klopp turned down the Paris Saint-Germain job after an hour-long conversation with the club’s sporting director, according to [https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-jurgen-klopp-approche-par-le-psg-486331](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-jurgen-klopp-approche-par-le-psg-486331)*[Le10sport](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-jurgen-klopp-approche-par-le-psg-486331)*.

The German continues to work wonders at Liverpool, inspiring them to a great period in the club’s history.

Not only did he earn Champions League glory last season, but the Reds are now overriding favourites to win the Premier League title this time around.

Unsurprisingly, Klopp is arguably the most highly thought of manager in the world currently, with any club on the planet desperate to have him in charge.

This latest report claims the 52-year-old spent an hour on the phone with PSG chief Leonardo, but turned down the Ligue 1 club’s advances.

He has only recently signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool and is more than happy at Anfield.

The thought of Liverpool losing Klopp doesn’t bear thinking about, but it won’t be happening any time soon.

They are a match made in heaven and the German will now be at Anfield until at least the summer of 2024.

Moving to PSG would be an undoubted step down, especially given the uncompetitive nature of Ligue 1.
