# Klopp sends fantastic response letter to young Man United fan

Jurgen Klopp has outlined why he is considered such a popular figure, responding brilliantly to a letter from a young Manchester United supporter.

The *[Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8025645/Liverpool-boss-Jurgen-Klopps-hilarious-reply-young-Manchester-United-fan-wrote-him.html)* report that 10-year-old Daragh Curley wrote to Klopp, asking him to stop winning matches with Liverpool, due to it causing him misery.

The Reds sit [22 points clear](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) at the top of the Premier League, needing just five more wins to secure a first league title since 1990.

Klopp decided to respond to the youngster, with his fantastic words including the following:

> As much as you want Liverpool to lose, it is my job to do everything that I can to help Liverpool to win as there are millions of people around the world who want that to happen so I really do not want to let them down.

This, to me, perfectly encapsulates everything special about Klopp. He is a truly wonderful character who respects everyone in the game, whether it be rival managers, players or supporters.

The German didn’t have to respond to that letter, but he knew that it would mean a lot. It is a moment that young Daragh will forever cherish, regardless of him being a United fan.

Liverpool are so lucky to have Klopp at the helm – in my opinion, he isn’t only one of the best managers in the world, but also one of football’s great people.

Because of this, we feel as if the Reds simply couldn’t be in better hands.
