# Lallana set for return to match action

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is set for his first taste of match action next week, as he recovers from injury.

Lallana has been out of action this season after suffering a thigh injury in pre-season.

The central midfielder has been unable to register a single minute of first-team football for Liverpool this campaign.

[According to The Telegraph,](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/11/07/liverpool-midfielder-adam-lallana-ready-edging-towards-comeback/) Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has set-up a 90-minute training ground in-house match for Lallana to play in to aid his recovery.

The likes of James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also set to be involved, with a mix of youth and senior players taking part.

This will be the latest stage of Lallana’s recovery, as he looks to get back out on the pitch in the Premier League as soon as possible.

The report claims that Lallana could be in the squad to face Southampton in the league after the international break – his former club.
