# LFC Legends to face Barcelona at Anfield next year – Torres will feature

There’s an [exciting date](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/370188-lfc-legends-barcelona-lfc-foundation-anfield) to put in the diary for next year, as LFC Legends host Barcelona Legends at Anfield.

The match will take place on March 28th, 2020, in what will be the fourth such game hosted by LFC Foundation, the club’s official charity.

A wonderful list of names are expected at Anfield, with the likes of Jose Enrique, and Fabio Aurelio, Luis Garcia, Patrik Berger, Jerzy Dudek, Jason McAteer and Vladimir Smicer representing the Reds.

Fernando Torres is the most exciting name, however, as the former Liverpool hero graces the Anfield turf one more time.

As for Barcelona, some star-studded individuals are expected to be on Merseyside, including Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Juliano Belletti and Javier Saviola.

It is sure to be a great occasion for a wonderful cause, with the game hopefully played out in front of a packed Anfield crowd.

The match will take place during the March international break, allowing supporters to get their football fix by watching some great players of the past.

Let’s hope Liverpool are on the verge of Premier League title glory at that point.
