# Liverpool again linked with sensational move for Mbappe next summer

Liverpool could sign Kylian Mbappe as early as next summer, according to a new report from *[Le Parisien](https://www.leparisien.fr/sports/football/psg/psg-kylian-mbappe-son-avenir-loin-de-paris-19-10-2020-8404003.php)*.

Mbappe has been continually [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/?p=106324) with a move to the Reds throughout this year, with his future at Paris Saint-Germain seemingly up in the air.

Real Madrid are also mentioned as a strong suitor, with no progress being made on a new PSG deal for the 21-year-old, and his current contract expiring in the summer of 2022.

That could mean the Ligue 1 champions decide to sell Mbappe a year before his deal expires, avoiding the disaster on losing him on a free transfer the following year.

He is a truly special talent who has already achieved so much in the game, scoring in a World Cup final, winning the tournament itself and scoring [94 goals in just 128 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/alletore/spieler/342229) for PSG.

While most footballers are still maturing at 21, Mbappe already looks close to the complete package, looking like a combination between Thierry Henry and Ronaldo.

The Frenchman’s electrifying pace, movement and end product would make him a sensation addition to Liverpool’s forward line, especially with Klopp potentially looking at long-term replacements for his current front-three.
