# Liverpool and Leeds fans love what Milner’s had to say about Man United

James Milner has enjoyed a superb career, starring at boyhood club Leeds United before spells with the likes of Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Now a hugely popular player at Liverpool, the 33-year-old is still going strong and will hope to start away to Manchester United on Sunday.

Milner has little time for United – no surprise, considering the teams he has represented – and he will be looking to heap further misery on them this weekend.

In a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P5-gFbvq48](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P5-gFbvq48)*[BT Sport](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P5-gFbvq48)* video that shows the veteran discussing various football shirts from the past, the midfielder brilliantly grabs an old United jersey and says, “well, that one’s getting thrown into the fire!”

These supporters absolutely loved Milner’s comment, lauding him on Twitter.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

There has been talk of Milner finishing his career at Leeds once his time at Liverpool is up.

He still has plenty to offer Jurgen Klopp, however, so the Reds should consider keeping hold of him next season,

A return to Elland Road could then be on the card, proving Milner with a fitting way to bow out.
