# Liverpool could play in new Nike kit this season

Liverpool could potentially win the Premier League title in their new Nike kit, according to [The Athletic’s](https://theathletic.com/1671788/2020/03/16/liverpool-suspend-training-for-two-weeks-and-could-win-title-in-new-nike-kit/?source=shared-article) James Pearce.

The Reds’ season is currently up in the air, but the hope is that it is still completed further down the line, possibly during the summer.

Should that happen, Pearce claims that Liverpool could be in their new strip, due to their deal with Nike starting on June 1st.

The Nike contract is [rumoured](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/01/liverpools-new-nike-kit-deal-predicted-to-earn-up-to-100-million-a-season/) to earn the Reds £100 million a season.

While there are more pressing matters than a new kit, namely winning the league itself, it will be exciting to see Liverpool donning a different jersey.
