# Liverpool fans are delighted as the Reds reportedly hold talks with Torres

A number of Liverpool fans are excited with reports claiming the Reds have held talks over a deal to sign Ferran Torres.

The 20-year-old has been a key man for Valencia this season, making 25 La Liga appearances, scoring [four goals and assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/349760/Show/Ferran-Torres) apiece along the way.

Liverpool reportedly see him as a summer transfer target, with Torres someone who could add depth and class to the attack. He will cost over €30 million, according to [Sport1](https://www.sport1.de/), via [LFC Transfer Room](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom/status/1247280085675249666?s=20) on Twitter.

At 20, the winger represents the long-term future, too – there will come a time when Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane need replacing, as sad as that thought may be.

Given Torres’ potential, it is no surprise to see numerous Liverpool fans happy about the links, especially at a time when there is no football to enjoy up and down the country, and around the world for that matter.

These Reds supporters took to Twitter to talk up the idea of the youngster being the next Torres to work his magic at Anfield.
