# Liverpool fans are desperate for Reds to sign Soumare this summer

Some Liverpool supporters are fully behind the idea of the Reds signing Boubakary Soumare this summer.

Football is currently on hold due to the virus-related illness affecting the world, meaning Jurgen Klopp has to wait patiently before his side clinch Premier League glory.

Despite the lack of action, that doesn’t stop transfer rumours from emerging, as Liverpool eye up potential summer reinforcements.

One of those to have been [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/02/03/soumare-rejected-newcastle-move-in-hope-of-future-liverpool-switch/) with the Reds is Soumare, who has shone at the heart of Lille’s midfield this season.

The 21-year-old is considered an exciting long-term prospect – one who could end up plying his trade at Anfield. Some of Soumare’s eye-catching statistics emerged on Twitter on Tuesday, thanks to [@LFCTransferRoom](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom), most notably his ability on the ball:
