# Liverpool fans are hugely underwhelmed by Lallana after defeat to Chelsea

Liverpool supporters have been left hugely underwhelmed by Adam Lallana’s performance against Chelsea.

The Reds’ 2-0 defeat to the Blues on Tuesday night was another bitterly disappointing occasion, as they were dumped out of the FA Cup at the fifth round stage.

Having lost 3-0 away to Watford over the weekend, a response was needed from Jurgen Klopp’s team, but their display was once again lacking a spark, as the post-winter break malaise continued.

Adam Lallana was given the chance to shine in midfield, having been one of the few slight positives to take from Vicarage Road, hitting the post during a lively second-half cameo.

The 31-year-old flattered to deceive at Stamford Bridge, however, putting in a lifeless showing that was both devoid of intent going forward and lacking legs in a defensive sense.

These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to lambast Lallana’s showing, with some asking what it is the Englishman actually does.
