# Liverpool fans are in stitches after Van Dijk mocks Robertson

A number of Liverpool supporters absolutely love Virgil van Dijk’s mocking of Andy Robertson on Twitter.

Van Dijk and Robertson moved to Anfield within six months of each other between the summer of 2017 and January 2018, becoming mainstays of this fantastic Reds side.

Unlike many current Liverpool stars, however, the pair have crossed paths in a different league prior to their time in England.

Van Dijk was once a defensive colossus for Celtic, having a huge influence at Parkhead. Meanwhile, Robertson was a lesser-known left-back plying his trade at Queen’s Park and Dundee United.

The Liverpool duo came up against each other in the Scottish Premiership six years ago, with a supporter sending photo evidence to Robertson during a Twitter Q&A on Thursday.

Van Dijk actually responded to the question asking who prevailed on the day, with the Dutchman joking that he humiliated Robertson with a nutmeg.

These Liverpool fans were in stitches at Van Dijk’s comment on Twitter.
