# Liverpool fans are left ‘fuming’ with Alisson’s late antics against Spurs

Liverpool picked up another priceless three points on Sunday afternoon, edging out Tottenham 2-1 at Anfield.

In truth, the Reds were comfortably superior throughout, despite falling behind in the first minute.

Liverpool did face a tense finale at Anfield, however, as Spurs upped their game and threatened to find a late equaliser.

In a desperate last-gasp attempt to score, goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga was sent forward for a corner, only for Toby Alderweireld to head straight at Alisson.

The Brazilian was then urged by the crowd to have a shot at goal from his own penalty area, with Gazzaniga nowhere to be seen, but he opted not to.

These Liverpool supporters jokingly showed their ‘anger’ at Alisson for not trying to put the icing on the cake.

Alisson again showed his importance on Sunday, making a couple of important lave saves.

They were routine in many ways, but he makes everything looks ridiculously easy.

The thought of shooting into a Gazzaniga-less goal may have crossed his mind, but as always, he made the right decision in keeping hold of the ball.
