Glatzel is currently recovering from an injury and is continuing his rehabilitation after suffering the knee problem against Tranmere in pre-season.

Many Liverpool fans reacted to the news on social media, with many delighted that the player has signed new terms with the club.

### Read Liverpool’s verdict

This is a solid signing for the Reds, with the striker now remaining at the club for the foreseeable future.

Despite his injury in pre-season, it is obvious that the staff at Liverpool rate the striker, and hope he can be a fixture in the first-team squad in the future.

This deal keeps him at the club long-term, giving him a lot of time to develop his skills.
