# Liverpool fans are unhappy with Origi after his woeful performance

Liverpool supporters have lambasted Divock Origi, following an ineffective showing against Chelsea.

The Reds were defeated 2-0 in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening, ending any dream of winning the treble.

Although the performance was improved from the one at Watford on Saturday, the second half display was still badly lacking quality.

Origi was given a rate start for Liverpool, as Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were left on the bench.

Barring one good cross that almost allowed Sadio Mane to score, the Belgian was below-par in west London.

Liverpool rarely looked threatening when he had the ball at his feet and he looked like a square peg in a round hole out on the left wing.

It was no surprise to see some supporters venting their anger towards Origi after the final whistle.

These fans took to Twitter to provide their thoughts on the 24-year-old, with many saying he simply isn’t good enough.

> Divock Origi is Jerzy Dudek.
>
> Played huge roles in unlikely European triumphs, but he’s not at the required level and even as a back up you’d want him contributing more.

> Have a feeling Origi knows he is on his way out of club this summer. And his performances reflect it

> Origi is a bit more annoying to watch when he doesn't score with 8 of his 10 annual shots

> I will always love Origi for what he’s done in terms of scoring massive goals, but he isn’t close to good enough as an all-round footballer.
>
> Possibly the most infuriating player to watch in the entire squad.

> I’m done with Origi on the LW, just play him as a 9 or sell him if he’s not good enough.
