# Liverpool fans aren’t convinced by rumour claiming Reds want Aubameyang

A number of Liverpool supporters are not convinced Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will move to Anfield this summer.

According to [90min](https://www.90min.com/posts/6579493-exclusive-chelsea-join-running-to-sign-arsenal-s-pierre-emerick-aubameyang?utm_source=RSS), the Reds have shown interest in the Arsenal superstar, who could move on at the end of the season.

Liverpool are [reportedly](https://www.90min.com/posts/6579493-exclusive-chelsea-join-running-to-sign-arsenal-s-pierre-emerick-aubameyang?utm_source=RSS) in a battle with Chelsea and Barcelona for the 30-year-old, as he weighs up his options.

Aubameyang has been a superb signing by Arsenal, banging in goals regularly since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

There have arguably been few more prolific strikers in the Premier League, and Europe for that matter, over the past five years or so.

Despite this, Liverpool’s rumoured interest in Aubameyang has not gone down particularly well among Reds supporters.

Considering he turns 31 later this year, he doesn’t exactly represent the future, making a switch to Anfield unlikely.

These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to react to the news, playing down a potential move for Aubameyang.
