# Liverpool fans back Adrian to shine as Alisson suffers hip injury

Some Liverpool supporters are backing Adrian to shine in the absence of the injured Alisson.

The Reds have suffered a major injury blow with the news that Alisson is [out](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/03/06/alisson-ruled-out-of-liverpools-clash-with-bournemouth/) of the matches against Bournemouth and Atletico Madrid in the coming days.

Liverpool’s No.1 picked up the injury in training, damaging his hip.

It means Adrian will again be drafted into Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up, looking to make up for the huge loss of his teammate.

While the Spaniard was culpable for Willian’s goal against Chelsea in midweek, he has largely impressed this season, since [joining](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/aug/05/liverpool-keen-to-sign-adrian-to-replace-simon-mignolet) from West Ham.

Adrian has [won every Premier League game](https://www.lfchistory.net/Players/Player/GamesPerSeason/1338-129) he has played in, filling in for Alisson for two months between August and October.

While there is understandable negativity surrounding Alisson’s layoff, some fans are trying to find positives.

These Liverpool supporters have tipped Adrian to thrive in the vital matches at home to Bournemouth and Atletico.
