# Liverpool fans can’t believe pundit’s comments about Pogba

Liverpool’s midfield is arguably the most unsung part of this fantastic Reds team under Jurgen Klopp.

Alisson is lauded for his brilliance, as are Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk at centre-back, while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are also endlessly praised.

Meanwhile, the attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are world-renowned figures, both as a unit and as individuals.

The likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum often do the dirty work, however, showing great industry without necessarily making the headlines.

Someone that former England striker Darren Bent thinks could do a job in Liverpool’s midfield is Paul Pogba – a hugely creative footballer, but one not exactly known for his levels of graft.

Speaking to *[talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/666652/man-united-paul-pogba-scapegoat-man-city-liverpool-move-bent/)*, Bent admitted he could see the Frenchman in this Reds side:

> When someone like a Paul Pogba comes available on the market, and let’s not forget he’s only 26, there’s going to be so many takers.

> It wouldn’t surprise me if teams like Manchester City come in for him. I can see him getting in Liverpool’s team, too.

> If he’s on top, top form he can get in most teams in the world.

Needless to say, these Liverpool supporters have been shooting down the comments, saying Pogba would not be a good addition.
