# Liverpool fans excited to see Keita against West Ham

Liverpool host West Ham on Monday evening, looking to go [22 points ahead](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) of Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

Victory will also make it 18 league wins in a row for the Reds, which would [match](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/02/24/liverpool-can-match-premier-league-record-with-victory-against-west-ham/) City’s current record achieved in 2017/18.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are overriding favourites to overcome their struggling opponents, with a response expected after last week’s [1-0 defeat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2neoTa3X5KM) away to Atletico Madrid.

Liverpool will be without Jordan Henderson for Monday’s game, with the skipper picking up a [hamstring injury](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/387691-jordan-henderson-injury-details-confirmed) that will keep him out of action for approximately three weeks.

It is unknown who will start in the skipper’s absence, but many believe it could be another opportunity for Naby Keita to shine, having suffered a stop-start career at Anfield to date.

These Liverpool supporters have taken to Twitter to talk up the Guinean’s chances of featuring prominently, hoping that he can shine against the Hammers.

> Naby Keïta to start, and absolutely demolish West Ham tonight. The talent is evidently there, and he’s slowly beginning to show it. [pic.twitter.com/Sc0rkdvuhx](https://t.co/Sc0rkdvuhx)

> If we win tonight, we will match City’s record of 18 consecutive games won in a row, which was set in 17/18.

> No Hendo tonight :/ I’d play Keita instead, along with Gini and Fab in the midfield. [#LFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/LFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#LIVWHU](https://twitter.com/hashtag/LIVWHU?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
