# Liverpool fans joke that an asteroid could deny them Premier League glory

Liverpool fans believe they are cursed when it comes to winning the Premier League title, with various things seemingly trying their best to deny them of glory.

The Reds sit 22 points clear at the top of the table, with four more wins guaranteeing a first league title since 1990.

Saturday’s defeat at Watford was hopefully a rare blip, as the Reds edge toward one of the greatest achievements in the club’s history.

Such has been the wait for a title, supporters appear desperate to just get over the finish line now.

Whether it be the potential of World War III or the Coronavirus, fans are growing increasingly tense about something out of Liverpool’s hands denying them their triumph.

A new report from the [Express](https://www.express.co.uk/news/science/1249990/Asteroid-warning-NASA-tracks-4KM-killer-asteroid-hit-Earth-end-civilisation-asteroid-news) claims that an asteroid heading towards earth could wipe out humanity in April, acting as the latest piece of news to strike fear into us all.
